Dr. Karyn S. Eilber

MD

Dr. Karyn Eilber is one of the few women in the country that is board-certified in both Urology and Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (URPS) and a certified menopause practitioner. Dr. Eilber received her medical degree from the University of California Los Angeles School of Medicine then completed her urology residency and fellowship at UCLA.  After fellowship, Dr. Eilber joined the Department of Urology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center before returning to her native California. She joined the Cedars-Sinai Medical Group in 2010 and is a Professor of Urology and an Associate Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology. She served as the Chair of the Cedars-Sinai Medical Group Department of Surgery and Site Director for the Cedars-Sinai/USC URPS fellowship until 2026 when she transitioned to private practice.


Dr. Eilber’s clinical practice includes all aspects of urogynecology including non-surgical and surgical treatment of conditions such as stress urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, pelvic organ prolapse, chronic pelvic pain, and female sexual dysfunction as well as providing menopause hormone therapy management. Her research focuses on female pelvic floor disorders, and she has been the principal
investigator for multiple clinical trials for female pelvic health. She has published multiple articles and given numerous presentations at national and international meetings. She is co-author of "A Woman's Guide to Her Pelvic Floor: What the F*#@ Is Going On Down There?" and “The Menopause Sparkle”, a founding medical partner of Doctorpedia, helped develop Femetry supplements for bladder health, and frequently lectures on women’s pelvic health issues.
