Dr. Tiffany Perry

Dr. Tiffany Grace Perry is a spinal neurosurgeon at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. She completed her undergraduate degree at Elon University before earning her medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine. Dr. Perry then completed seven years of neurosurgery residency training at UNC Chapel Hill, including an enfolded orthopedic spine fellowship at Duke University.  Following residency, she completed a post-residency fellowship in complex spinal disorders at The Cleveland Clinic, where she subsequently remained on faculty for two years before joining Cedars-Sinai.

Originally from the East Coast, Dr. Perry is an avid Tar Heel fan. Her clinical practice focuses on degenerative pathology of the cervical and thoracolumbar spine, with additional expertise in motion preservation for cervical and lumbar degenerative disc disease and spinal tumors.

​

Dr. Perry is deeply committed to academic medicine and mentorship. She serves on the UNC Medical Alumni Council, beginning a three-year term collaborating with the faculty at her alma mater. In December 2025, she graduated with her Master of Public Health degree from the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health.

She also leads an annual surgical mission to Kampala, Uganda, with a multidisciplinary team from Cedars-Sinai. The team—including physical therapists, nurses, surgical technicians, and trainees—provides both surgical and non-surgical spine care while teaching and lecturing alongside local medical professionals. Global healthcare equity is a vision she shares with many like-minded physicians across the world, and she will work to continue to strive toward that purpose.

Dr. Perry is an active member of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons and Women in Neurosurgery. For the past seven years, she has served as a mentor through Cedars-Sinai’s Pre-Health Careers Volunteers Program, where undergraduate students shadow her for 10 weeks and gain exposure to the field of neurosurgery.  She is also faculty with the AI translational medicine PhD program at Cedars Sinai working with graduate students to create clinical projects that intersect the progressive power of AI with the clinical needs of medicine.  She also has worked for the past 7 seasons on the sidelines with the LA Rams as a neurotrauma consultant.

In addition to her clinical and academic work, Dr. Perry collaborates closely with industry to advance spinal implant technology. She currently serves as a consultant for Medtronic on anterior and posterior cervical instrumentation systems. She also recently received a grant with Dr. Julia Greer from California Institute of Technology to bridge clinical spinal care with engineering innovation in translational medicine and spinal implant development.

Dr. Perry has one daughter who is currently studying electrical engineering and physics in college. Outside of medicine, she enjoys running trail ultramarathons across the country and half marathons in national parks with her daughter. She credits the unwavering support of her parents and daughter as foundational to her success and career achievements.
