Dr. Jeffrey James

Dr. Jeffrey James is a board-certified chiropractic neurologist, one of only 1,500 such practitioners worldwide. He graduated from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic and earned his Diplomate in Neurology from the prestigious Carrick Institute, widely regarded as the pre-eminent functional neurology teaching institute worldwide, where he also completed advanced training in neurochemistry, nutrition, vestibular disorders, and traumatic brain injuries. Over his 35 years in private practice in West Los Angeles, Dr. James has developed extensive expertise in addressing underlying metabolic, gastro-intestinal and other functional disorders not only impacting the nervous system, but patients overall quality of life and this had become his main focus in helping patients recover and regain their health.

In addition to his neurological expertise, Dr. James has completed extensive post-graduate studies in blood chemistry, functional endocrinology, thyroid disorders, autoimmunity, and neurotransmitters. Over time, his work expanded to include Functional Diagnostic Nutrition (FDN), where he uses advanced laboratory testing, diet, lifestyle interventions, and targeted nutritional supplementation to help patients improve their energy, balance, and long-term health. He works with patients to address complex conditions including diabetes, pre-diabetes, and autoimmunity, helping them achieve measurable improvements in health and vitality.
